I am a Jungian psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker practicing in Evergreen and Denver, Colorado. In 2006, I began theoretical Jungian training in Switzerland, where I am an analyst in training with ISAPZurich, the International School of Analytical Psychology. I am now living back in the mountain community offering services combining traditional psychotherapy with Jungian psychology.

For over 30 years, I have worked therapeutically with people of all ages and with a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, loss, identity, self-esteem, childhood trauma, PTSD, co-dependency, relationships, stress management, life stages adjustment, women’s issues and spirituality. I have worked in schools, foster care/adoption agencies and hospices in addition to maintaining a private therapy practice since 1990. I was an adjunct professor in the Masters of Counseling and Education program at the University of Phoenix (Denver) and my experience also includes many years of working with multi-cultural issues and clients from various ethnic backgrounds. I became interested in Jungian psychology when I integrated sandplay into my therapy approach. In the early 90s I was a founding member of the Colorado Sandplay Therapists Association (CSTA) and am currently on the CSTA board.

In my private practice, I see adults, couples and children and offer both analysis and psychotherapy tailored to individual needs. I am experienced in many types of treatment, but specialize in a Jungian analytic approach. In combination with talk therapy, Jungian psychotherapy/analysis explores the unconscious mind through dream work, sand play, expressive arts and the mind-body connection, in order to dissolve problems and enhance personal growth. Jung called this process individuation. Individuation deepens the connection to one’s center and the transforming power of the psyche and results in a more integrated sense of self and meaning of life.
